Tynsky's Dig-Your-Own Tours We offer a unique experience where people can actually go to our quarry and dig their own fossil fish. This experience starts at our shop which is located in downtown Kemmerer, Wyoming. From our shop, you will be given directions to the quarry. Upon arrival at the quarry you will be given 2-3 hours to dig your own fossils. A tour guide will show you how to dig these amazing fossils. We charge $65 per person, children 7 and under are free. You may keep 6-10 fossils, excluding rare specimens, for each paying person. We also provide all the tools you will need to excavate the fossils from the ground. We suggest you bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and gloves. We run the tours anytime between 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. MST. We do not require reservations, but we do recommend calling a day or two ahead of time so we can be ready for your arrival. We hope this experience will truly be an experience of a lifetime for you to remember.
